Tanner is a wonderful boy just looking for a family to call his own. He is house broken, but does need some obedience training. He is an eager to please, so it should be fun to watch him learn new things. He is very laid back, so far the only time he has barked was at the possum that lives in the yard. He walks well on a "easy walk" lead and generally does not pull. He enjoys rough housing with his teenage foster kids, but is just as happy as a couch potato. He pays no attention to the resident cats, and gets along well with other dogs.

Hi everyone! I'm Ramsey and I sure am glad I got rescued! I was living on the streets and I wasn't what you'd call wiley. I didn't do too well on my own. I ended up in a shelter and then got rescued. I live in a foster home now and that sure beats living on the street! The only thing that would be better would be living in a forever home. Maybe yours?

I am doing well in my foster home and get along with other dogs. Not sure about cats though. I've liked all of the little kids I've met so far but don't live with any. I know a couple of commands and am working on my house manners. I love to run and jump and play by myself and I'm learning to play with my foster 'brothers'. (I never had other dogs to play with before so I gotta learn how) I love to go for walks, too! I sure would like to meet you - won't you come see me at one of our adoption days?

BeeBe is a sweet girl. Affectionate and outgoing, good with other dogs. After being rescued from Animal Control, BeeBe settled into her foster home very quickly. Young enough to have a little play left in her, but calm indoors with all her house manners. She loves to go for walks. However, because of her inquisitive nature and ability to jump a chain link fence, she will need to go to a home with a privacy fence.

I have a hard time with off because things on the counter generally taste really good and I love kissing on people. I am pretty good with dogs but can be a little bossy. Who could do this to Bandit? He was a stray up in Middlesex County. When they found him he had a 10 foot cable and part of a broken cement block he was dragging hooked to his collar. The lead and block was caught up in some machinery at a fish processing plant. No one around knew whose dog he was or where he came from. So now Bandit is looking for a home that will treat him the way that he should be treated! He is about 3 years old, black and white lab mix male, 76 lbs. Up to date on shots and has been neutered. Very friendly, knows sit, down, roll over and comes when called.He gets along with dogs and is just a really sweet boy!

This is Jacks, we are not sure what he is mixed with but boy is he cute! We just rescued him from a local shelter and now he is in foster care until he finds his forever family. Meet Cody, a very sweet young man who's everything you could ask for in a new best friend. He is friendly, playful, loving and even though he is young (we think about a year to a year and a half) and ready to play, he is very gentle and doesn't jump all over you. He hasn't had much training but he is eager to please and he should learn quickly. We're not sure if he's house broken but so far there have been no "accidents". Because Cody is still young he would be better suited for an active family environment. He gets along with dogs and cats and although we haven't seen him around children; because of his sweet nature I cannot imagine there would be a problem. If you're looking for a new family member who's ready to love and be loved, Cody would make a great choice.

Paige is a very sweet hound dog that gets along well with small children
and her foster dogs. We think she will get along well with cats but it
is hard to tell because our cat hates all dogs. She loves attention
and loves nothing more than sitting next to you face to face. This girl
is mostly a couch potato but loves to wrestle with our dogs. You can
tell when she gets really excited when she plays because she will prance
like a horse. She does not ride well for long periods of time in cars.
Being a hound, she has a great sense of smell so you need to keep the
kitchen trash out of her reach. Paige craves attention and would be happier not being an only dog.

We were told he is good with cats but we have not had any experience with him and cats yet.

Russell is in a home with other dogs, and has had no problems getting along with any of them. he is also good with cats. They are actually mother and daughter. Angel is the black one and she is about 4 years old and weighs 11 ½ pounds. Coco is the brown one, she is 6 months old and about 8 pounds. These girls are very co-dependant on each other right now and do not like to be separated, however we believe it is in their best interest to be placed in different homes so they can develop individual personalities. They are very frightened of new people, so it will take some time for them to be comfortable with strangers. Also, they prefer women as they seem to be exceptionally frightened of men. They are learning to be around other dogs but are a bit intimidated by big ones. Angel & Coco are both working on their house manners and are for the most part housebroken. We will not consider placement in homes with small children.

Hi, My name is Josie and I'm a 1 1/2 year old Blue Tick Hound. I am very sweet and love to be petted and roll around on the couch. I know some people don't like me on the furniture, but I learned this at Doggie Day Care, which I love.. It is so much fun to run, play and nap with all the other dogs. Although I have my favorites, I am never mean to anyone except cats (I really don't know what I'd do if I caught a cat). I would like to find a forever home that has at least one other dog, as I like to run and play. I am crate trained, but don't like spending all day in one (I get bored). I don't climb or jump fences, but I definitely need a yard with a fence. Because I am a hunting dog, I will bay if I smell something good in the air, but only if I smell something. I won't just bark for any reason.
