VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Showing dogs on various Sundays at Petsmart in Virginia Beach. Hours are from 1-4PM.

Placing donation boxes in area businesses and collecting the money for K-9 New Life.

Fundraising events. We need fresh ideas, and people to be event coordinators

Returning K-9's phone messages one day(or more) a week. This can be done from the comfort of your own home on your own schedule.

Homechecks for adoptions.

Transporting dogs to and from the vet and for adoption days/events. Requires somewhat flexible schedule.

If you if you aren't ready to adopt another one yet then pick one of our dogs and help them get adopted. Each dog is looking for a sponsor that will help to let people know that they are looking for a home by making posters, telling friends,coworkers about this special dog and placing fliers at local vet's offices/petstores. If this is something you are interested in helping with please e-mail or call K-9 New Life. Remember every homeless dog has that perfect home out there we just need your help to find it!!

FOSTER HOMES

Foster homes are the root of dog rescue. By providing a temporary safe haven for a dog you are giving that dog the gift of life. We are in need of homes that are willing to provide fully vaccinated dogs with this opportunity. Fostering a dog is not a financial burden as all expenses are covered by the center, nor is it a chore. Fostering a dog is a fun, rewarding experience. These dogs coming out of the local pounds need TLC and a safe place. You become their saviors by giving them the chance at a new life.
